Perfect for summertime, the latest issue of Cakes & Sugarcraft includes an array of cake decorating projects that take their inspiration from nature. Here’s some of our favourites…

4. Natural Wedding Cake

Natural fruit powders are used to give punchy flavours in this lemon and raspberry gluten-free wedding cake by Marianne Stewart. The humble, buttercream covered-cake is decorated with dried edible petals for a look inspired by nature.

5. Roses, cosmos and blackberries

The abundance of the English country garden is in full bloom at this time of year. Celebrate by bringing some of that beauty to your cakes with this beautiful sugar flowers project from Elena Wilkinson. You can learn from the master on Elena's upcoming course at our school in September.
