These translucent cake decorations are made from a soft, edible jelly, which gives them shiny, gem like appearance. To apply to sugar paste icings, wait until the icing has fully dried out then stick with confectioners glaze. Do not use standard edible glue as this could cause the diamond to puddle. If the diamond appears to mist over - which only happens with excess handling, or gets covered in icing sugar then brush the surface with a damp brush until it shines again.
