So quick to make – simply mix this fantastic scone mix with water then knead, cut to shape and bake to create delicious scones with that irresistible just baked taste.

Add your own choice of dried fruits to the mix for different flavour combinations, plump sultanas, glace cherry pieces or fresh lemon and orange zests. Perfect for picnics, afternoon tea, garden parties or celebrations these easy to make scones taste lovely with butter or generous portions of freshly whipped cream and jam or fresh strawberries.

For special occasions you can’t beat the traditional taste of Rodda’s clotted cream and homemade jam!

Store in a cool, dry place
Usage instructions
  1. Scone Mix – 500g (makes approx 6 large or 12 small scones)
  2. Lukewarm water (30c) – 210g/ml
  3. Place the Scone Mix into a large mixing bowl and add all the water
  4. Using a large spoon beat together for about 2 minutes until a smooth dough forms
  5. If using a mixer select the beater attachment and beat 1 minute slow + 30 seconds on medium
  6. Add any fruit / cherries etc as desired (150g is recommended amount)
  7. Transfer dough onto a floured work surface
  8. Ball up round then flatten using a rolling pin to 3cm thickness
  9. Using a scone cutter if possible, cut to the required size
  10. Place scones carefully onto a floured baking tray. Egg wash the tops then rest for 15 minutes
  11. Bake for 12 min approx at 220c conventional / 190c fan
  12. Remove from oven and cool scones on a wire rack if possible
