Wright's Baking cake mixes are so simple to use! Requiring only the addition of water and oil to produce a moist, tender eating cake. Add your choice of fillings and toppings or just enjoy plain.
One bag of mix will produce a 7" / 8" cake, 2lb loaf cake, 24 cupcakes or 12 muffins. Once made the cakes will keep well for 5-7 days if stored correctly in cool, dry conditions and are suitable for freezing.

I have used this brand of cake mix for many years, I find its a brilliant, no fuss, easy to make cake mix with excellent results every time, and an excellent staple for any bakers store cupboard, I have used the maderia mix on its own, added lemon, orange
colours, choc chips and always well pleased with the results , it produces a good stable flavoursome cake making it easy to sculpt and cover with both fondant and butter cream it holds well and after baking it improves over next few days however I usually find that once the candles are blown and the cake cut it really doesn't last too long, often I make plain as per mix just for a nice tasty teatime treat with a cuppa tea but equally nice with cream and fresh fruit it's so versatile and wouldn't be without this brand of cake mix always brilliant quality and great results across the whole range
Purchased 6 packets of this mix and sent them to 3 sets of grandchildren. The children really enjoyed making and eating this cake. They found it easy to make and the instructions easy to follow. The ages of my cooks were 16, 14 and 11. Told them this was for their cookery homework. They and their siblings had great fun.
Very pleased with the taste and texture produced by this Madeira cake mix by Wrights. Added caraway seeds for a seed cake, added lemon zest and poppy seeds for a lemon drizzle cake base. Planning on using one with halved cherries mixed in next. The cake matures well over a few days, at least it does if my husband holds off eating it so fast!
